Creativity takes effort
Creativity takes effort, and it is something you can learn. I used to think “I’m just not creative”. This is just another self-defeating thought like “I’ll never succeed” or “I don’t deserve to find someone who loves me.” The fact is that creativity can be learned. Almost anything can be learned really. Can you find someone who you think is creative? Why not talk to them about it? Have you read any books on creative thinking techniques? Go buy one! So the question becomes what problem do you want to solve? Do you overeat? Do you gossip at work? Do you have trouble finding time to learn new skills or take up new hobbies? Do you need an inexpensive car? Do you have friends with seemingly hopeless problems you could help out with?
